Following a successful Management Buy-out in 1993 my brother Jon and I have built an excellent reputation within the print industry for our quality, friendliness and service. I am responsible for the company’s equipment sourcing, implementation, training and operation. My day-to-day duties include directing pre-press, press and post-press operations. I joined Prime Litho Printing Services Ltd to run their digital department in 2004. It was shortly after this that I received intensive training in variable data and image personalisation techniques, allowing Prime Litho Printing Services to launch their i name it product range. I joined Jon and Adie at Prime Litho Printing Services Ltd in 1994. My primary role is to ensure a smooth transition of the printed material from press, to finishing, through to delivery, maintaining a focus on strict quality control throughout the entire process. Joined Prime in 2004, having begun my career in print back in 1975.I have seen all aspects of print from the ‘old’ letterpress, pen ruling and traditional bookbinding, through to multi coloured presses and now Prime’s Digital and variable data printing.I enjoy all aspects of print with each job being different and dealing with a wide customer base ranging from sole traders to multi nationals. I have been with prime since November 2007, and have over 10 years’ previous experience in the production of Management Accounts. As Prime is a growing company, I will be enhancing the accounts system to produce timely and meaningful management information, which will in turn be invaluable to the Directors and their decision making.
